If today is rough, you don't need the app for this. In the US, call 1-800-QUIT-NOW for free quit coaching, or call or text 988 if you're struggling. Both are free and open all day. In the UK, call the NHS Smokefree helpline on 0300 123 1044 or Samaritans on 116 123. Elsewhere in Europe the app shows your country's quitline and support line, and 112 is the emergency number everywhere.
I paid for Plus but the app says I'm on the free plan
Open the paywall and tap Restore at the bottom. It asks Apple for your purchases and unlocks Plus on this phone. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you bought with. This is also how you get Plus back after a new phone or a reinstall.
If Restore doesn't find your purchase, email us with the date of the purchase and we'll look into it.
How do I cancel, and can I get a refund?
Cancel in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone, or in the App Store app. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends means you won't be charged again. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides, usually within a couple of days.
When Plus ends you keep your quit day, your count, the money kept, the craving button and the slip plan. Targets, pouch hours, daily notes and charts stop.
Can I move my quit day?
Yes, a week at a time, so it stays a Friday. Open the Plan tab and tap the quit day. You can move it up to 4 weeks out. If you're on the step-down, your daily targets don't go back up when you move it later; the plan holds where you are until the new date.
You can also move it earlier, as long as the new day is at least tomorrow.
What happens if I slip?
Nothing is reset. Tap I had one and the app counts it as a slip: it asks what set it off, gives you a short plan for the next morning, and shows your days as, say, 7 of 8 pouch-free. Your money kept and pouches not used keep counting.
The next morning is where a slip usually turns into a full can, so that's what the plan focuses on. If you've gone back to using daily, tap Change my plan on the slip screen to pick a new quit day.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Everything it stores, your plan, pouch log, cravings and slips, lives only on your iPhone, and on your Apple Watch if you use it, so deleting the app deletes all of it. Deleting the iPhone app removes the watch app too. We have no copy and no account to close. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription; do that in Settings first if you want to.
How do I turn off Apple Health?
Go to Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices, pick the app, and turn off Resting Heart Rate. The heart-rate chart disappears and the app stops reading. Apple Health is optional, read-only and limited to resting heart rate. It's shown as weekly averages only, and it never leaves your phone.
Notifications: too many, too few, or none?
Everything is scheduled on your phone. Turn them on or off in Settings › Notifications. With Plus, notes are daily in the first week and thin out after that, with extra ones just before the times you used to use most. The trial reminder arrives on day 5, two days before any charge.
If you aren't getting any, check that Focus modes aren't silencing the app, and that notifications are allowed for it.
Which phones does it work on?
iPhone with iOS 26 or later, and for the watch app, Apple Watch with watchOS 26. There's no iPad, Android or web version. It's on the App Store in the US, the UK, the EU, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland.
How do I reach a person?
Email hello@iterelle.tech. We read everything and usually reply within two working days. Including your iPhone model and iOS version helps with anything technical.
